Fine art image shows the White Rocks area of the Missouri River where Arrow Creek enters the river. Lewis and Clark named this creek "Slaughter River" in 1805 because there were more than 100 dead buffalo piled up at the mouth of the creek. Their campsite was on this side of the river, in the center of the image. It was one of the few campsites they used on both the up river and down river trips.
Panorama photograph on canvas, and is part of Craig Edwards Signature Editions.
